Now that you are using the Wi Protect RFID Asset Label managing your assets in and off location is so much simpler. The RFID functionality allows for automatic recognition during the assigning of the asset to different Departments or to an Individual, this will massively increase speed of deployment, especially for items that are regularly assigned in and out. Stocktaking takes only minutes and is no longer a dreaded chore. Maintenance and warranty issues relating to the device can also be improved.

How it works

The label contains a uniquely identifiable RFID chip. The label is placed on the asset. Using the Wi Protect Auto ID software you are able to assign the Auto ID label to a building, department, or individual. RFID readers are configured to read the Auto Id label upon entering or leaving a controlled point. The system logs the Auto ID label and sends the location information to the Wi Protect Auto ID backend system.

Automated Audit reports and alerts

The Wi Protect Auto ID software allows for customised audit reports and alerts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This also allows for jobs to be assigned automatically via SMS, email or GPRS (3G) to a mobile worker.

Inventory & Status Control

Now that each item is tagged and been read the exact status, location and stage within it's life cycle can now be automatically logged. A typical log could include any exceptions or processes that have occurred e.g.
